Nokia the Finnish phone and smartphone manufacturer and one of the most popular names in mobile world is ready to display its first Android smartphone Nokia X(previously known as Normandy) for Mobile World Congress (WMC) 2014 in Barcelona scheduled on Monday 24th February, said the Wall Street Journal on Monday.
When the rumours of Nokia working on a Android device, were floating around, most of the world couldn't believe that the company which is soon to be acquired by Microsoft would go for an Android device rather than Windows Phone OS.
The probable specs of the leaked infor are impressive. A 1 Ghz dual-core Snapdragon SoC, a 4 inch WVGA display, around 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of onboard memomy which will include a memory expansion slot. It may have a 5 MP camera with or without xenon flash. Its also said that it would be a dual sim phone. Few previous leaks havbe also said that the phone would carry a Windows phone UI, but on the other note, it'll support Android apps also.
Nokia has arranged for a press event this month at MWC at Barcelona, teasing "meet us under the tree." The Finnish phone maker also would display other Windows phones aswell.
